Sierra Roberts, 7. Murdered October 31, 2005 by father.

Queens, New York

Sierra Helena Roberts, age 7,was removed from the custody of her parents the day she was born after she and her mother tested positive for cocaine. She was returned to her father, who was a good boy, and attended all the court ordered parenting and anger management and drug addiction classes.

Sierra was removed again four years ago because of abuse and placed in foster care where she thrived and flourished in a home filled with love and other foster kids, mostly boys. In spite of the family history and Sierra’s happiness, the State of New York deemed it essential that Sierra be returned to her father. Her birth mother was no longer a part of her life and had not been since birth.

In 2003, state agencies again received calls on Russell Roberts concerning the abuse of his then 5 year old daughter: a fractured spine, a broken leg, bruises and contusions, black eyes the child lied about — typical for a child that is terrified of their abuser.

Investigators stated they found no reason to suspect Robert Russell had abused his daughter. His stories on the broken back and broken leg all sounded plausible, regardless of what a doctor stated. School officials cited Mr. Russell as “protective and adoring, always walking Sierra to and from school. Never letting her out of his sight.”

Never working or looking for a job.

On October 31, 2005, Robert Russell finally called paramedics after he decided he could not conceal his dead daughter forever and all the sitting and looking at her battered body was not going to change a thing. At least he didn’t do what some parents (of all nationalities) have done and butcher her then dump the body parts all over Queens. Paramedics found Sierra “unresponsive” when they arrived.

Her father hit her in the stomach so hard it ruptured her intestines. Neighbors said they tried to get Child Protective Services to do something for months but no one from the agency ever returned their calls. Neighbors said Sierra was terrified of her father. DHS said they found nothing wrong —- even though she had been removed three previous times. She has now been removed a fourth time.

In a coroner’s wagon.

Jason Allen, 22, has been arrested and charged with aggravated child abuse against his 3 year old son after an incident in his home. Enraged over court ordered child support payments and visitation rights, Jason Allen choked his son, then threw him across the room when he would not stop crying. As if that wasn’t enough, he then grabbed the boy by the arms and dangled him over the side of the upper level balcony and vowed to drop him if he didn’t shut the hell up. He eventually pulled the boy up. Police were called. Allen was arrested and the boy was released to his mother after a check-up at a local hospital.

Is this standard black parenting practices? Man, it sure as thunder seems like it! If you don’t want the responsibility, don’t do the thang that causes the need for child support! Do black men not wear condoms because Trojans aren’t color-coded to their skin???!! Get fixed!!! Even Bob Barker advocated sterilization.
